Steve personally enjoys being involved in initial client discussions and designs as well as in formulating solutions with consultants to ensure the highest quality outcome is achieved for prospective tenants.
As Director of Investment Management & Acquisitions at Dome Property Group, Rick Gismondi is responsible for leading the group’s acquisition strategy, investment management, and end-to-end development management across a broad range of asset classes and project types.
Rick oversees the complete project lifecycle from greenfield inception and initial opportunity identification through to feasibility analysis, project funding, and delivery. His role encompasses the identification of property repositioning opportunities and highest and best use assessments, with a focus on maximising asset value, cash flow, and investment returns. He is further responsible for the appointment and management of consultant teams and the oversight of tendering and procurement across all project stages.
In addition to development management, Rick manages the day-to-day operations of the group’s investment portfolio, including leasing, lease renewals, and contract negotiations. He works closely with tenants and stakeholders to maintain strong occupancy performance, optimise lease structures, and ensure the ongoing operational effectiveness of assets.
Prior to joining Dome Property Group, Rick spent approximately five years as a licensed valuer with CBRE Valuation & Advisory Services in Perth, during which time he valued in excess of $2 billion of assets. He developed specialist expertise across a diverse range of asset classes including large format retail, major regional, sub-regional and neighbourhood shopping centres, service stations, childcare centres, and industrial property providing him with an in-depth understanding of cash flow analysis, asset performance, and value drivers across both local and national markets.
Rick holds a Bachelor of Property Development and Valuation from Curtin University and obtained Associate Membership and Certified Practising Valuer status with the Australian Property Institute.
